Waveland – Raymond McClain, 88, of Rt. 2, Rockville, died Sunday in Vermillion County Hospital at Clinton. He had been seriously ill for 10 days. He was a retired farmer. He was a graduate of Waveland High School. Mr. McClain was born Sept. 1, 1892, in Parke County, a son of Jacob and Nancy Alexander McClain. He was married to Clara Harney in April 1917 in Putnam County. She preceded him in death in 1955. He is survived by several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a son and several brothers and sisters. Services are at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Machledt & Servies Funeral Home at Waveland with the Rev. Carl Huxford officiating. Burial will be in Mount Moriah Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home 4-9 p.m. Tuesday. S-- mc
